We are a diverse community - some of us have been worshipping at St Nicholas for years, whilst others have only just become
part of the church family.
Although we are all different, we have one thing in common, and that is a desire to worship God and to serve God with
our lives.
Being a Christian is about being a child of God, and that immediately means that we have millions of brothers and sisters!
(That's the Church, worldwide, and down through the ages).
So being a Christian, and learning to live as a disciple of Jesus Christ is not something that we do on our own. It's
a journey that we must make together, or not at all.
If that sounds hard, that's because it is!
At St Nicholas, there are three dimensions to our church life:
Learning to Worship.
Learning to grow together.
Learning to reach out to the world around us in loving service to others.
We learn to grow together very simply by spending time with one another, sharing our faith together, and beginning to
share the joys and sorrows of our lives. In this way, we learn how to give and receive love and support, and be the attractive
community that the church is called to be.
